Aerosim Inter-school Aviation Tournament 2022
Aerosim Inter-School Aviation Tournament 2022 (AIAT2022) is a tournament engaging all interested Hong Kong Secondary students to actualise their STEM understanding and explore their interest in the aviation industry. The implications of this tournament include the application of STEM education in the aviation field, realistic flight simulation contests as well as aviation career exposure.
The tournament extends beyond flight simulation and requires students to actively engage in critical thinking, problem-solving, communication among countless other applicable skills beneficial to career development.
Altogether over 40 secondary schools with over 250 people participated. Within these, 50 students were chosen to get into the final.
Awardees:
From March to August 2022, four of our students, Leung Alston Lok Hei, Ayaan Ahmed Shaik, Karl Joseph Alves, and Sewon Bang, participated in this inter-school competition. Despite completing most of the course online, they successfully made it into the grand finale and Leung Alston Lok Hei from 6H received 2 awards.
